[Help]W580i Screen Stretched

OK well someone said to
Update display driver files with the original: dispdriver_fota.dat and dispdriver0.dat
Use XS++ to upload to your phone and to this location ifs\settings\display

But im a total noob at this and want to know how to do this? please give full descriptions :D

It would be easier to just reflash your phone then put the original driver back in the phone. I had the same problem and tried the replacing method and still no change. So I decided to reflash and it fixed the problem. Hope this helps.

This is a very common issue with w580i's. You will have to reflash your phone with XS++ or setool or JDFlasher till this issue is fixed :S It's very annoying... Also watch your battery level when doing this! Flashing an almost empty phone is dangerous.

So you installed the driver and then it didnt work so you then reflashed your phone and it worked?

All i did was flash it with the original drivers and it worked :D

I had this problem as well. Took me a while to figure it out but all you have to do to prevent this is to make sure you are using the correct firmware files. Use the same one that originally came with the phone. For example, if it is R8BE001, be sure to use a R8BE001 one.
