    Question W810i Debranding

My friend has W810i which is unlocked but it has got Vodafone branding and he has O2 sim in it everything works fine on it except trying to go on the Web. It seems it needs to be Debranded and have the O2 branding put on it. He ask me to do it for him but I'm not sure how to debrand it and put in the O2 brand. Any advice would be most appreciated on how to do this.

Connect your phone to xs++ and copy here your phones log without IMEI number and we will see.

    Have a nice day

Why put O2 software and not GENERIC? It's much better!

Give us what jasmin asks for and we'll tell you how to do that!

I'm noobie what do you mean by Generic one and how is it better? I'm guessing a Generic phone is compatible with all sims?

I think branding has nothing to do with browser. Just ask O2 for wap settings.

Hyperion 17 tried that, they sent setting down the phone it, it did not work because you log on to the web through Vodafone setting? Thanks Seamonkey so that means it will work with any sim card.

    Re: W810i Debranding

Sorry about that what I meant was with the Generic one installed and the phone was unlocked. I would be able to use any sim card and not have the problem I got with the phone not being allow to go on the web because of Branding.
