Reflash it :) be sure to make him save all contacts and user info on the memory card and SIM before flashing!

    Re: z610i phone lock code

The things you should do depends on that - what kind of phone your mate own - is it branded ( Vodafone , Orange, O2, blablabla ) or non-branded ( "Generic" )).
If phone is branded and warranty status does not matter ( its already ended or phone has not got warranty ), then flash with generic firmware.

To do this, you must follow XS++ or SETool2 Lite flashing guide. Everything else should be written there.

P.S. If you still does not understand, where to get required files, you must have posted more than 10 NON-Spam posts and registered for more than 3 days here .. after gaining access to Download section, search for necessary files ;)

If you don't get them, Google is all yours.

P.P.S. Actually I should no have had to write half of this stuff ..., but usually people are too lazy / dumb for some thinking or using logic .. :(

Read this tutorial XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing, Customizing, Recovering - Top Sony Forums and when you sucssesfully connect with XS++ - go to GDFS (down, right - tick GDFS and XS will open new menu and on top you will find PHONE LOCK option - hit and XS would reset or read phone lock

    Re: z610i phone lock code

You are doing everything wright, but your phone have CID53 and for now XS don't support that CID - and you can't reset phone lock code with any free tool and I really don't know if some payed service, maybe, do it that for free or you will need to pay this
