ok.. i'll keep on trying it.. thanks for that one.. i might come back to post some updates..
thanks again.. :)
EDIT:
i only have the 3.2 (Crystal) and the 3.1 (Darwin) versions.. if you do not mind, do you
happen to know which of this two is somewhat better when it comes to that procedure?

hhhmmm, now, i happen to notice one thing.. it's somewhat standard now.. when i do follow
the procedures, i noticed that if i didn't remove the battery before using XS++, the line:
"Did not receive 0x5a. Continuing" occurs almost all the time and then hangs XS++
however, when i do remove the battery before using XS++, it doesn't detect the phone..
i wonder if i was still missing something here.. i know i did install ggsemc.inf to detect USB
Flash memory..
i managed, at last, to make it detectable.. however, XS++ only showed two lines and never
responded after it.. the two lines are:
Baseband ID: 9900
Protocol Version 3.1
and XS++ stop responding after that..
could it be that the phone cannot be detected after all? just like what SEUS says, that the
phone identification cannot be confirmed..
could it be that the Flash IC was already out-of-luck and died?
