A2 CDA File Generator v1.01 by bboyzahid & Jockep

Hi

Just added a couple of new features:
-Removed sound completely.
-Removed models K858, TM506 and W908.
-Removed error: revision not editable
if CDA incomplete.
-Added Region Support.
-Added CDA Database. (Many thanks to Jockep)
-Error if CDA is not numbers.
-Error if CDA is incomplete.

GUIDE:

1. Open "A2 CDA File Generator v1.01.exe" and choose
your model.

2. Choose a Region.

2. Obtain a correct CDA for your phone (if not provided).
Then enter your CDA Number

3. Enter your CDA Revision.(optional)

4. Click "Generate XML File".

Debranding your phone:

What you Need:
- SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service)
- A2 Uploader
- Gordan Gate's SE flash drivers

6. Install SEUS and Gordan Gate's SE flash drivers (ggsetup.exe).

7. Open A2Uploader.

8. Click "FileSystem Tool". Connect phone via usb holding '2+5'.
you can let go of '2+5' once A2Uploader has detected your phone.

9. Browse to the directory 'tpa/preset/custom' then copy over
"customize_upgrade.xml".

NOTE: If you get an error, your phone memory might be full. You will
have to do step "10.", disconnect your phone then delete something in
your phone memory.

10. Click "Shutdown FS Manager". Disconnect your phone and turn it on.

11. Let it load. If prompted for "Normal/Flight Mode", choose normal
mode.

12. Turn off the phone.

13. Run SEUS and follow the prompts.

Enjoy a debranded phone!

Hi All,
Got It.

I got to know why the customize_upgrade.xml was being deleted on first boot after copying.
The reason is that " the cda version, cda revision , phone model (including the last charactor w760a, w760i) that is in the customize_upgrade.xml should match with the corresponding fields in the customize.xml already available in the phone.


1. Check the fields in the customize.xml by reading using the filesystem in a2uploader and generate the xml using A1 CDA file generator. If still there are any differences, you can edit the generated xml file and then save

2. Copy the generated/modified custimize_upgrade.xml file using a2uploader to the tpa/presents/custom directory on the phone

3. Then shut down the file system on a2uploader, power on the phone and boot till the main menu.

4. Power off, remove and re-insert the battery, start SEUS and follow the instructions.
