i assume I caused it when I tried to update my phone via the SE update system?

Is there anyway I can avoid this happeneing again?

one issue - all the themes on my phone have now become corrupt files -I cannot use them.

Is this a byproduct of the cust pack or something else?

No,it isn't. Broken and corrupted themes are nusproduct of SEUS,because he never finished update of your phone

Cool. right how can I get them back? Do I need to just update my phone using SEUS?

You can do that by yourself and XS++.Download complete firmware and make full flash.Use this 3 files:

MAIN: K800_R8BF003_MAIN_VODAFONE_WI_RED52
FS: K800_R8BF003_FS_VFE_LIVE_2_RED52 and
