    Far(or anythng like) for linux

    Anyone knows if exist something like Far manager to use in Unix based systems????

    Yeah, I would be very happy if such thing would be available for Linux. IMHO Far could be used from Win*hit installed under Qemu or VMWare... but it's still not the same as native version.

    really , itsn't the same...
    i supose far is programmed with C/C++...and if the source code (.c/.cpp) files could be found(anywhere) trying hard(or not) it could be compiled to run under unix like sys

    far is file manager. just like midnight commander.
    far is not opensource project, and even more, it's not free http://rarlab.com/shop2rarlab.php?prod=far so you'll never get its sources.
    it's not so hard to write some flashing software, the main problem i think is dcu-60 drivers

    I also use GNU/Linux. I cannot use FAR, but I had the some problem with XS++. Although Windows applications can be run through wine, the problem is probably with the USB drivers. I don't know about a native Linux solution.
