    A2uploader supports cid49,51,52 semc a2 phones (db3150,db3210), so it should work.
    Don't forget to switch on and off your phone after uploading "customize_upgrade.xml".

    Re: [Debrand] A2 (Db3150) Tutorial

    I had tried different area codes in slightly different xml files, som has more info rows like model, phone name, CDA rev? do I need info there?

    I see a white screen said "waiting" and a statusbar when starting the phone after uploading, so I must manage to change something, but always same result in SEUS - you already got latest revison..

    One version
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <customization>
    <info>
    <model>G502</model>
    <phone-name>G502</phone-name>
    <cda-number>1209-4769</cda-number>
    <language-variant-name>NORDIC</language-variant-name>
    </info>
    </customization>

    Another one
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <customization>
    <info>
    <cda-number>1209-4769</cda-number>
    <cda-revision>???</cda-revision>
    <created-by>bboyzahid</created-by>
    </info>
    </customization>

    Tried
    1209-4769 Nordic
    1209-4784 Central Europe
    1209-4774 Western Europe
    1209-4778 America

    well i dont know why this "Already up-to-date" problems keep coming but i think its possibly for the following reasons:

    1. Your phone is already up-to-date (your software version is latest)
    2. You have not successfully changed your CDA
    3. Sony has done something to block this CDA trick in new firmwares or models

    1. If there is so, I will keep trying untill SE has an update..
    2. In Service menu (>*<<*<* ) program info, can I see the number in the CDA I entered - is that a sign on a successfully uploaded file or how can I else read files in the phone?
    3. This idea has struck me, if so, someone out there who succeeded with this method? report phone model, any G502?

    Thanks for all help sofar bboyzahid!

    Guide for those who have a branded W910i that the branding blocks the customize_upgrade.xml method:

    Step 1: Downloading required stuff
    1. Download/extract/install Sony Ericsson Update Service
    2. Download/extract KulanKendi Client
    3. Download/extract A2 Uploader
    4. Download FS - see download area
    5. Download MAIN - see download area
    6. Download and extract the costomization file
    7. Run DPInst from the "USBFlash_driver" folder inside A2 Uploader. All drivers is now installed.

    Step 2: Debranding the phone
    8. Turn off your phone (KulanKendi Client advises Master reset first)
    9. Run KulanKendi Client and type anything in the login/password fields.
    10. Select the "DB3150(A2)" button (make sure that all boxes is UNTICKED
    11. Select the "Open file" button beside "Main" and navigate to the MAIN file you've downloaded above
    12. Select the "Open file" button beside "FS" and navigate to File System you downloaded above.
    13. Select the "Flash Phone" button.
    14. Hold the "C" button and plug your USB cable into your PC and then your Phone.
    15. "MAIN" file will be flashed (will take 3.5 minutes).
    16. "FS will be flashed" (will take 2.5 minutes).
    17. It will say "connecting" or something similar then it will say "unable to connect" or something. This is OK.
    18. Close KulanKendi client, let go of the "C" button and unplug the phone.
    19. Run A2 Uploader.
    20. Click on "File System Tool", and hold the "2" and "5" buttons then plug USB cable into the phone.
    21. Once the file system on the right has appeared, let go of the buttons and navigate to tpa\preset\custom and then drag "customize.xml" onto the file system window. This takes a second or two, when it's done, stop the file system tool (by clicking on "Shutdown FS Manager"), then quit the application.
    22. Turn on your UNBRANDED and "new" phone.
