How much do you use your phone? And what phone model do you have. You'll have to give some more information. General tips for power saving: switch off bluetooth when not in use, only charge battery when completely flat, charge for extended periods longer than is necessary. Also 3g uses a lot more power so does any internet connection. Also turn the screen brightness down. And if you are really serious to make every millisecond count. Use an all black theme and pictures. ;)

12 hours its realy bad, how old is your phone?

I disagree with Zandman about fully discharging phone, i worked with nicd bateries but now li ion and li pol bateries don't need / like it. You should keep charge above 50% and completly dicharge only once apon a tiem to recaliber batery electronics

Trust me on this. I work with these things everyday. As a electronic engineer. ;) i agrea that the li ion battery some times discharge faster after it was fully discharged and recharged. But in the long run your battery will last up to 4 times longer. This was proven under under controlled tests.
