w880 Dead! Please help!

Today I brought a w880, from a friend and it's not working.

I am experianced with SEtool and XS++, and I've used it to reflash my w580.

Here is the problem: When you turn it on, it doesn't show anything on the screen, and it doesn't work when you press connect on SEtool. Please help!

The battery works fine, but thee was a buildup of some black tape or something on the + part of the phone battery connector, which I have removed.

Any suggestions would be massively appreciateed!

Try to connect with Setool with 2+5 instead C and if you can post log here without IMEI number

I have tried connecting with C, 2, 2+5. All the same.

By the way I'm using my DCU-60 cable from my w580. I don't know if I need a DCU-65 cable.

try using another battery or if you can look at the battery contact point of your phne, may be it's damaged

try bootroom mode which is 2 and * for w880

Dear Friends,

I am using K790i, With modded menu and peter's acaustic...

I got a error that menu.ml is not working..
Then i try to update my menu file using xs++_v3.1. But FSX didn't started...

Now I was about to flash my main firmware and I am not able to connect to xs++. Above all my phone is dead now. Previously is was working fine.

Things I have done.

1. switch off my phone removed battery and inserted again
2. connected to computer using usb cable...
3. Error as given below:

4. then i tried to restart my phone but no result...

Please suggest me what i should do...

Try to clean conector on phone,change USB port on computer - if that don't work - try to reinstall flash drivers - if that don't work - try to connect holding 2 and 5 with Setool2lite - well just follow this plz help... k810 is dead what can i do ? - Top Sony Forums

Did you try reinserting the battery?
