    phone is dead...

    is there a way to wipe everything out and reload all the files?

    if so, would i lose whatever i had in the phone?

    sorry if it's a dumb question.. newbie here

    What do you mean buy dead?? Can the phone connects to any programs?

    Yes.When you install new firmware you lose everything.

    So i guess you maybe asking how to restore your phone? Open SEtool2, choose your phone's version, then in the MISC choose the GDFS file that you backup before (thats if you backed it up). then write GDFS. that will restore your phone but not your phone's cust pack tho.

    i think,u can reflash the firmware and file system
