W810i Ubuntu 8.04 bluetooth can't send from cell

I can receive files from PC, I have paired the phone and the PC shows up under setting>connectivity>bluetooth ,but when I try to send a photo via bluetooth it is not one of the options.
The phone is also in system>preferences>bluetooth and the bluetooth ready is in the notification area in Ubuntu.
Is this a PC or w810i problem?

When you say it can't receive from your phone by bluetooth? have you told the computer to receive the incoming bluetooth. I don't know about your bluetooth on your Computer but if I want to send anything to it I have to click bluetooth icon on the Computer and then press receive.
