    Reinstalling W910 software

    Hi,
My SE w910i has recently died after a week of malfunctioning. The easiest way to describe it is that half of the alphabet has disappeared: The system font has been substituted with a light serif font which shows only some characters with spaces for the missing characters. After several restarts it came alive again for about a day showing the normal system font with full characters, and then it died. Now I can't switch it on any more. When I press the on button the keypad backlight switches on but the phone doesn't seem to boot up; it doesn't reach the sony ericsson splash screen. I've tried to update the software with SEUS but this only seemed to have worsened the matter. The program stalled in mid-game and I was forced to quit it. I am considering it to flash the phone but I am not sure if it will be worth the effort and the money considering the state of the phone. Can anyone give me some idea whether the phone can be saved or not. My phone is still in good cosmetic condition so I don't want to dump it yet. I may have to return it to my provider for a replacement if all else fails.
    Thanks

Don't do anything-take phone to your provider for replacement.Because for free you can't flash,so your choice is only one

Thanks, I thought so. I called up my provider support only to discover that my warranty has already run out. I am on contract and due to receive a new handset in a month from now anyway. I wouldn't mind to have the ghost put back into my w910i though. Preferably if it wouldn't cost much.
