wot can be done to k800i on 3 cid 53?

hi i;m new here so bear with me. i was looking through related posts to flashing a k800i etc. i downloaded xs++ and connected phone to see software and was told that phone not supported not too sure bout other numbers but wot i noticed was different was the cid number. mine is 53 which i havent yet seen anywhere.

can it be changed modified etc???

Hi I'm also a noob here.

Just left 3 and want to unlock my K800i. I paid for my instructions at mobile unlock codes.co.uk and it said run sony ericsson software update, with a download link.

Sooooo.... I did that first and now have CID 53. Great!!:mad:

The Flash K800 with K810 software link is great, except that I've read the thread and people seem to be having flashing screen problems.:(

Should I just try to get the K800 generic firmware, pay for an unlock code, or what?

Sorry if this has already been covered but I can't decide what the right answer is :confused: and dont want to brick the phone.

Any help appreciated.

Cid53 phones can`t be unlock for free, so your best choice is to pay.

You could unlock your phone when it was cid52 for free.

The safeist way is to unbrand and unlock with some payed service and yes you should keep K800 like K800 so just look at @jasmin signature and choose one

So the best way is to unlock by code. Fair enough.

Once this is done can I then unbrand using Farmanager and JD flash?

I read they have an update and is now CID 53 compatible.

Is it possible to just MOD the camera on a K800i CID53, or do I need to flash the whole phone? Which I would rather not do. If, however, it is the only way to do it, how? I can't make the above program work, and even if I do, it looks like I'll still end up with CID53 stuff on the phone, which, as far as I'm aware, you can't MOD using XS++.

It's probably also worth mentioning that I am new to this flashing and MODding stuff, but I like a challenge.
