Question setool and Trojan Horse Generic_c.ZOX

Hi my first post and my first venture into the fascinating world of mobile phone software and firmware.

I have downloaded firmware and made an unlock patch. Now I want to flash that patch to the phone to unlock it.

    I hope this isn't a silly question, but ...

I have downloaded setool lite, but my anti-virus software (AVG Internet Security 8) reports that setool includes 2 "infections" - includinga Trojan Horse (Generic_c.ZOX, I think it was). I've downloaded various different versions of setool from different sites, but AVG always objects to it.

Is there a problem with the setool downloads, or is the trojan just part of how it does what it is intended to do to my phone? Is it safe? How do I know it won't damage my pc? :(

I saw a post in another thread that mentioned virus scanner problems - but couldn't find the answer (most of the thread was about another problem I think).

My phone is an SE W880i locked to Vodafone UK; EROM Red CID 52; CDA102719/122 R5A; Firmware R8BA024; EROM R3A022.

Your wise counsel would be much appreciated ....
