C702 memory card problem

My C702 is two day old,my problem is with the memory card, its not reading my files in it although it can detect the files but it wont open pictures and play mp3s. This memory card is from my previous W880i so i think theres no problem with the mc because I tried other new memory card but still the same.Even the firmware was upgraded to R3DA029. Do you think the problem is hardware now?The thing is when you just inserted the mem card,the contents can be opened and played but after several seconds it wont be opened anymore.
To add,im not satisfied with the picture quality of this phone but thats fine as long as I have music a some photo light :D

Try to format your memory card and then load new media files from pc and check

yeah i did.thats the first thing I did when I got issue with this phone. The thing is when you just inserted the mem card,the contents can be opened and played but after several seconds it wont be opened anymore.

Issue got resolved when I replaced it with a genuine Sony M2 mem card,the card thats having an issue was a Class A mem card.Im happy now

im having the same problem...im not sure if the problem is the memory card..i have 3 genuine Sony M2 mem card. 2 x 1gb and 1 2gb...theyre working fine with my k810..but with my new c702 (a day old) with a fw of R3DA029, it cant seem to read the memory card...i feel this is a hardware problem..very frustrating...

you bet its really very frustrating,thats what I felt when I had that issue. If reformatting those M2s wont solve the problem, you really dont have a choice but to but a new 1 especially if the symptom is like this one, the phone can detect how many contents you have there in the mem card but it cant open it, its a mem card issue, but if the phone wont detect the mem card itself it migh be a hardware problem. try reformatting the mem cards first.
