W810i Freeze/Shut Down Issue, Factory Defect?

Hello all. My W810i has started randomly freezing/hanging and then shutting down on its own. I've read on different sites about this happening a lot to people who own a W810i under different circumstances. There doesn't seem to be much about it on here though. I just want to know if anyone knows if this is a factory defect (therefore needing to be replaced) or could it be solved by a firmware upgrade/debranding? Sorry if this has been talked about before. I did search the forums but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

reflashing it normaly solves 70% off the time
