(see title)..... Yea, i've had my w810i for a long time now and i love it! I've replaced almost every piece of hardware on it due to use, so things are starting to get a little funky. I've recently replaced the housing which i've done successfully probably half a dozen times now, only this time the camera button doesn't really work post surgery.

The half-shudder BARELY engages after I push waaaay down on the button but i can't then push it anymore to take the picture.... could I be missing some kind of gasket/pad or something? I've tweaked with the placement of the PBA and other parts to try and fudge the sensor more towards the outside of the phone because it seems like from the diagnosis that the sensor is too recessed....

I have the DIY service manual and follow it religiously and have looked into all the camera and camera-button related troubleshooting guides. No real help. SO.......

Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what they did to remedy. OR is there a cam driver that uses maybe numeric keys as shudder buttons/half-shudder buttons as to bypass my possibly doomed camera button.

.......Or is that an easy script to write?............ I'm not that savvy with that sort of thing......

Thanks in advance for any input. I love this phone and want to keep it!
