K790a problem with Read GFDS

hi there,

I am very new to all of this and i am trying to debrand my K790a. When I try to Read GFDS, i get the following:

Will backup GDFS now.
ChipID:9900,EMP protocol:0301
PHONE IS RED RETAIL PRODUCT
FLASH CID detected:53
Speed:921600
OTP LOCKED:1 CID:51 PAF:1 IMEI:***********4 CERT:RED
FLASH CID:53 COLOR:RED
Can't build loaders chain ;(
Elapsed:8 secs.


Does anyone know why this is happening and will it effect me being able to debrand??

Your phone have CID53,and that is reason why you can't backup GDFS.
Only free tool for flashing is jdflasher and tutorial you have here Flashing with jdflasher - Top Sony Forums

Setool2lite doesn't work with CID53

to work with CID53 you need FarManager+JDFlasher

but i 'm not sure if it has this feature to Read GDFS

You can Backup your GDFS with Kulan Kendi ;)

It is a online client, and Backup GDFS with CID53 is for free :)
