later i had w300 and it was updated from r9a036 to r4ea031 by using seus(sony ericsson update service)
you can do this with sony ericsson website

another way is flashing firmware by xs++ or box

If u flash the FS part too then you will lose all mods. Flashing only the MAIN part you don`t lose anything.

um bros you kno you cant change the walkman version...only by skins and thats faulty...bro who posted the frames..small_doc...TANX ALOT! and also the java update file...i hope it works..although all i think that jus gonna change the value in the systems menu..ill try it in my k750 too! um..

what is the advantage of doing so?will navigation improve?faster?
I'm really curious about this. There are not much threads here regarding upgrading java of w810i from 6.5 to 7.1.
