Bricked w810i ??

Hi, I have been trying to fix my girls CID49 RED w810i using XS++ & setool2lite after a WSOD.

I did seem to be getting somewhere using various guides as the SE logo would come on when the charger was plugged in, but after flashing it again with the customize FS box checked it will not start at all and setool2lite will not even recognise the fone but XS++ will.

I backed up the GDFS before I did anything.
The files i used are
W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49

A W810i with CID52 I never saw this. Try to restore the GDFS with XS++3.1

I know XS++ didnt upgrade the CID to 52 because i said no to the upgrade, SEUS says my software is upto date.

I think the problem ist that XS++3.1 think your Phone is CID52. But it is not possible W810i has only CID49 and CID50.

Try to restore the GDFS with SETool lite. You can also use the Backup from XS++3.1 to restore with SETool ;)

First try to repair your EROM with this guide REPAIRING EROM GUIDES for most sonyericsson phones - Top Sony Forums and if you succed try to restore backup of GDFS with Setool2lite, but before restoring post log here

it maybe the copy off xs try to download a new one if it has a cid 52 have u tryed to wright a diffrent gdfs to it or has some one eles b4 u got the phone ?as the highest cid is 50 for w810i :confused:
