unlock imei

for a hyperthetic scenario, my phone is blecked by a network ie. blocked via the imei. can i use setool box to change the imei? and then will it unblock my phone?

and before any one accuses me of stealing or anything, no! i dont own a stolen phone and nor is my phone currently blocked....im just asking out of curiousity and for incase maybe one day i may need to have that knowledge.

use u can but its only a patch imei and wont work on a2 phones
