I just want to be able to change the annoying, massive "Planet 3" logo thats my left soft key into something else, say music player or camera etc. Is this possible by customizing firmware? or do i have to flash a "Generic" firmware to the phone?

Even with a Generic one the left key will say "Calls". I doubt whether you can change this...
