w880i wont respond. Help pls

Hi all,

My w880i is locked to the orange network. Just now, I tried to work it out with XS++ but the flashing hung halfway through so I closed the whole XS++. I tried again, this time with updating the EROM to 52. Halfway through, it got stuck again. Again, I closed XS++ and now my phone wont respond. I cant turn it on, cant charge it, XS++ cant detect it. Please help. T.T

take the battry out then put it back in the retry holding the 2 button

Have you gone through the steps in Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums

follow the steps in that post and your phone will be unlocked, it also has how to patch it to 52 and so on...

if it cant charge or connect it usually means you damaged the erom.
that is hard to fix unless you have the service cable.

This is the reason why if its upgrading the erom you should not touch the phone as it will brick it.

I reccomend you take it to phone shops to fix your erom. (cost varies i got mine fixed for £5 and full unlocked)

I downloaded the firmware flasher from their website and it fixed mine
