flashing it shouldnt unblock it if your phone was stolen. this is because a stolen phone is blocked via the IMEI code and not on the phone itself. therefore, they only way to unblock a stolen phone is to reprogramme the IMIE (which may i add is illegal). though i wouldnt mind learning how to just for the fun of it =P anyway, if its blocked due to security lock on the phone, then yes!
