lol, first, have u charged it up? cause if its running out of battery, of course its shutting down by itself...
Next, I dont know whats the condition of "bricked" but i guess its when your phone wont turn on, that means bricked so probably you would want to look through posts regarding "bricked". Im new here too and i spend 7 hours in this forum to have a crash course of the beginning level xD. you should do that too.

make a backup, Master reset, clean battery and battery connector contacts

i have the same problem, sometimes it is shuting down, it does this after only 2 months of use, i have the latest firmware on it , R1JC002, unlocked by patch .

You have 2 solution: 1. take phone to service , but they would update your CID to 53 and you can't unlock that CID with patch for free or
2. Do full flash and patch unlock again
