Debranding W810i questions...

Hey all, I'll get right to it, well I've modded other phones before, mostly Moto's, never an SE, so I have a couple questions, I've been reading forums all over the place for the last 3 days and can't seem to find the answers, so here goes, to debrand does the firmware and cda have to be exact to the new firmware and cda? say I have R4EA031 fw do I need to istall the same thing? same with the cda, do they have to be exact? If so, how does installing it debrand it, if it's the same thing? I have modded phones b4 just never debranded them, I would rather do this on my own then pay to get it done so I have a better understanding. Any advice would be helpful, Thanxs, Chuck

your main and fs should match exactly. about CDA, it's upto you, you can choose your like, it's about the language package

oh I've been reading and I thought that the new cda had to match the old cda, for instance my cda is 102494/58, so from what I've read I had to find one that is the same, but the only one I found here was a cingular branded 102494/58, now wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Just wondering

About custom file:

Finalization = Completing flashing operations and storing basic settings that phone needs to properly operate [i.e. security certificates, (and this is why phone displays "configuration error" if it is not properly done)].

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version
MAIN R1BC002
FS R1BC002
Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)
Customization =CDA102338/50 ( EUROPE_5 Sunrise Switzerland)

Ok, I think I pretty much have it, say I wanted to put this:
FS=W810_R4EK001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED49
MAIN=W810_R4EK001_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49
I would have to get something like :
Custom=W810_CDA102555_107_R2A_Generic_AMERICA_2

So another question would be, how does mine CDA102494/58 differ from that one? I know it has something to do with what country, or part of the country it's in, right? But would it be ok to flash that Custom Pack on this phone even though it is AMERICA 2 but may not be from the same country or part of the country my original is from? I hope I'm making sense to whoever reads this, I just seemed to have gotten a bit twisted and turned upside down with all the posts I've been reading :)
