can someone help me with unlocking my phone using the remove simlock patch. I keep doing but it doesn't work.
check if your CDA doesn't have SIMlocks, if it does, the patch not gonna work
and check in the secret menu if the locks are open
put this >*<<*<*
go to service info/SIM Lock
if you have the 5 locks open, thats mean that your phone is unlocked
how you read the tutorial? Remove SIM-lock patch generator - Top Sony Forums
is the phone already unlock?
what doesnt work?
did the patch apply successfully? (you apply the patch with the main during setool lite)
could you show me the xs++ data or setool lite info (when you click identify)
The XS++ does not have the W580 model, how do I customize with that model? i have unlocked the whole phone now, but the interface is still rogers and they wont let me play the mp3 as ringtones.
use w510 custom file
Hmm if I xs + + mene Sony had flashed when simlock netlock or branding it wa I just raised new software free and has always worked for me! until now, no branding and afterwards nix everything ok
Yes, XS++ doesn't have w580i custom pack but can use your own custom pack.
Download your custom pack ..your favorite....
Create a folder called "own_custpack" in XS++ dir.
Unrar the contents of the custpack you downloaded early to the directory just created. So you will have \own_custpack\tpa\preset\custom\
In XS++ select "own_custpack" from the drop down box. Flash!
Use SeTollLite 1.11 it support DB2020
and if the you have got in Simlocks - 0, its not unlocked
Hello,
I have flashed my W580 with new firmware(R8BE001). I used the corresponding FS and custom pack. I also used the SimlockPatch to remove the sim lock from AT&T.
Everything went well. When I look at the service menu all the locks are unlocked (and they have number 5 next to them).
However, when I put my Swedish SIM card in the phone it still shows AT&T (though it no longer gives me the SIM card error message) and when I am trying to make a phone call I get the AT&T operator asking me to call a 800 number to clarify things.
Does any one have explanation to this behavior? Does this mean that the IMEI number is locked at the AT&T network and I would have to be out of the country for my cell phone to to work with other SIM cards.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Jonny
