MP3 Ringtone Problem Z550a

Has any one who’s got an ericsson z550a, or any ericsson, have a problem if they put an MP3 file, from either bluetooth or cable, to their phone and not been able to use it as a ringtone. Did any one remove this problem or get around this problem?
