    Repair a cell phone

    I was wondering does anyone know how to repair a cellphone damaged by a magnet or is it even possible? Because I place my cellphone on top of a magnet that I did not know that was there now my cellphone won't turn on anymore?

    I think it is possible, but I cannot guarantee.

    First of all make sure that the battery has enough charge, because a strong magnetic filed can discharge the batteries. Then try to connect the phone to XS++ or SETool2 Lite, and post the log. If it doesn't works, check if you see the red light blinking...

    :rolleyes:the reason you mentioned may not be true, just connect it to xss++, after charging the battery fully, battery can be charged even the display of your phone does not show charging, later install ggsetup usb driver for flashing phone, then holding c button of your phone connect your phone with usb from computer you may see logs as said by simox. Water damage is a serious one to phone, but magnet I dont think so unless you have a very strong magnet which is used in testing labs. hope you get logs. Good day.:)
