    Re: Hardware question

If you're speaking of something like a fixed number of times a phone can be flashed, no there is no such thing. You can flash it as many times as you want.

    cheers

Thanks, that's all I needed to know...

@philzfog12: How often and why does that happen?

    Thanks again...

No, you can flash a phone as many times as you want, there is no limitation at this.
The internal "memory" where firmware is recorded can be erased and rewritten an unlimited number of times, you can be sure about that.

    Re: Hardware question

there is no way you can damage your phone by breaking phone software, but keep a back up of gdfs file system intact from your phone and do research as you wish, on your phone but do not blame us for your acts if any thing goes wrong so play safe, yes the flash software may burn and you need to replace at times.

    Re: Hardware question

    OK guys, thanks for answers.

My original concern was is the flash chip sensitive as the one on computers, guess not...

I confirmed this on debranding and unlocking K800i, when during FS flashing battery died, #$%&" i said to myself, but reflashing did the job, works like new one (or even better i would say)...

@jagadeesh: jump first, and then say hop (regarding don't blame us part)

    Cheers...
