SE K790i Screwed!

Hi All,

I am having SE K790i. I flashed it to K810i. It was fine but with the problem that it always show NO NETWORK COVERAGE after inserting the sim card.

Finally I downloaded the files K790_R1KG001_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52 and K790_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52 and flashed it back...

Still I have the same problem of NO NETWORK COVERAGE and accompaning that my handset speaker gives a cracking sound!

I used XS++ 3.1 for all flashing.

Do any one has something to share?? When I went to certified Sony Service Center they said due to some liquid your motherboard of the mobile is damaged.

I would highly appreciate if anybody can help!!

Hi Philzfog.. Could u plz make it sure that the no network coverage is a gdfs problem and not to do anything with the unlocking moblie...:eek:

its a damaged GDFS. hopefully you did make a back up before you did the flash. all you have to do now is just resore the back up onto your phone and then it should all be good

If you don't have GDFS backup, then try to repair your GDFS with How to Repair a db2020 GDFS guide.

so you tried to flash it back and it still says No network coverage?
is the phone blocked (imei blocked? or sim blocked?)
when did this occur?

No network coverage usually means that GDFS damaged but i think the phone is blocked or something
