What is the error message you get?

Scan your PC with a decent and up to date anti virus(like Kaspersky), to be sure there aren't any malware. Also check for errors the hard drive with chkdsk utility. Call it in command prompt like

chkdsk C: /F /R /X
If nothing helps, reinstall your Windows as last resort.
