I think i've bricked my k800i help please !!

Hello everyone newbie here who's turned his k800i phone into a paper weight.
I was given the phone and wanted to unlock it from Orange. I flashed it ok to get rid of the branding, then made and applied the quick access/sim lock patches. After that i try to start the phone and get flashing white screen nothing else. Now when i try to flash it always fails usually ending in " verify block error last blk:44150000,00010000 ". I'm not getting the blinking red light in the infra red window like other people i have read about. It will still identify in setool but wont do recovery " resources not found ". I've been trying for a couple of days now and ready to throw it at the wall unless someone can help please.

why dont you try with xs++?it is more reliable...Anyway,the worst thing that can happen to your phone is a broken gdfs,but you can fix that easily...So...If you really bricked this phone you can revive it

you did back up your gdfs first didnt you? If not go and see if you can now

Try with babeck 0.6(you can find that program in download section) check your firmware and if is OK I think you really brick your phone(but wait someone to confirm)

Maybe try with FAR flash your phone(who knows - maybe FAR can flash)

Make sure you select 'bypass DB2020 security' in setool2lt

Also try recreating the vdk file from the main firmware in SIMOX's SIMLockPatchGen.exe I used K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn found here>

well i dont think its bricked since its able to plug with computer, apparently if you update it using sony ericsson phone update service avaliable to download on the offical website it is able to recover it.
The phone will only have a white screen for 2 reasons:
- bad flash
- screen damaged
(all of this have been researched from other forums hope this helps)

But the problem he is coming up against is very strange...I mean,why every will refuse to flash this phone while it can be connected?Very strange things.I suggest that he try and flash it with Wotan e.g. ...
