    Thumbs up Zapf Modding, A tutorial on how to make ZAPF Acoustics

    This tutorial explains you how to make & mod ZAPF acoustics.For all those APF Modders & Newbies who want to make & mod ZAPF then here you go.

    What you need:-

    Win Hex http://www.x-ways.net/winhex.zip
    ZAPF to APF Convertor Click Here Password : Mobile+Man

    ZAPF Template for Win Hex Click Here Password : Mobile+Man

    APF SUITE for GUI based Conversions Click Here Password : Mobile+Man


    First of all download Win Hex & install it in its default location i.e. c:\program files\WinHex
    Then download ZAPF template & put it in the above directory.
    Now as a base acoustic download some ZAPF acoustic.Here im using w880's originals. Click Here Password : Mobile+Man

    Lets start modding the PHF files[for headphones].Extract w880's acoustic & then select the files phf_play_*.zapf[1 to 4]& phf_play.zapf
    Now use the zapf to apf convertor to convert it to apf so that it can be edited via Win Hex.just drag the files on unzapf.exe to convert.



    Now open win hex & open the acoustic files.Goto view then select Template Manager.There select "ZAPF EDITOR"





    Now in the editor there are many fields

    For the N00bs start modding with only TXPGA2, TXPGA1 ; RXPGA2, RXPGA1 ; RXVOL2, RXVOL1.
    & for the APF Modder's u know what to do.
    When you are done then close the template & save the acoustics.
    Finally open APF suite.Click "Compress" select those files which you just edited & click open.it will automatically convert it back to zapf & ur done.





    Now put them to your phone to test your acoustics.

    This Mobile~Man alz do stupid things..which is not good. He shud b stopped.
