VKP Patches - how to install them?

one can use far manager or gslide to install or uninstall .vkp patch.
far manager is recomended by most of the people

When u add any patches do u need to add them in a spesific folder or just copy to the memory

For my phone, when i install the .vkp patch. The phone will stay the desktop and doesn't have any response. Why is it happen?

I was copy on flash folder of my phone but nothing happened....wherw I must copy the .vkp files with far manager?
