    K800i CID49 flash to CID52 Troubleshooting

    Hey guys,

I tried the automatic XS++ method to update to CID52, XS did its stuff but then when I reconnected it was still showing CID49.

I tried following these instructions with SeTool2Lite k800i CID51 to CID52 not possible? - Top Sony Forums
but that still did not work.

Just for fun I even tried updating with SEUS, but it says my software is up-to-date.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Did you use XS++ 3.1 Darwin or 3.2 Crystal (3.2 is beta so use 3.1)

I tried atleast 10 times. Here is the log, you'll see. Basically it asks me to flash to CID52, I say Yes, it flashes it, then says it is successful, after that I disconnect and reconnect, and it gives me Did not receive 0x5a, so I take out the battery and try reconnecting and it asks me to update to CID52 again.
And it's always the same thing over and over again. Someone that works in for a SE repair shop told me it might be a corrupted loader on my cellphone.

    Here is the log.

try use setoollite (its an alternative) if not you're just going have to record your computer so we can see exactly what youve done lol
