K800i I think it's dead

Hello,

First, sorry if I do mistakes, I'm french.

I have a k800i and I can't power on it anymore. The infrared switches on when I connect a cable but....

I wanted to flash the erom like it's said all over the internet...


It is not recognized by my pc when I connect it in USB pressing "c" or "2+5" ;

I tried SEUS, XS++, Wotan and Davinci.... No way, it's still not recognized....

What can I do, is it really dead ?

If it doesnt turn on then i doubt XS++ can solve the problem. But i do know that apparently FAr manager can solve the problem (never tried and i hope i will never need too). With regards to the second part of your question...have you installed your phones flash drivers? (often people forget to or dont install it properly, double check that you have). Second, try unplug you battery for 2minutes and then put it back in before you connect it to your pc. 3rd, open XS FIRST -> click connect -> then hold 'C' on your phone (dont let go until it tell you too). Hopefully it will connect now. good luck

The flash driver is installed, I think so because I tried to connect my K550i and it works.

I'm going to try unplug the battery for 2 minutes before connecting and see with XS again then Far.

definitely, my phone seems not to be recognized by my computer. Does it ever happened to one of you ?

I think I know what's happening to my phone unfortunately . By reading posts on different forums, I think my phone is brown and not red.
So security is blocking everything. I don't know what to do. I can't flash to red cuz it's not recognized.

if you use jdflasher plugin for farmanager you may make some progress, its a little tricky to learn but works quite well

well, you should install the K800 flash driver, clean the phone connection port and try changing the usb port to another usb port of your PC
