I would rather use XS++ 3.1! Firstly is your phones flash drivers been installed properly? often the people didnt install it correctly and therfore XS can not detect it. Next, remember to pull your battery out for 2minutes and then put it back before connecting it to XS. Lastly, first open XS -> click connect -> and then hold "c" on your phone (dont let go unitl it tell you too). Good luck!

Drivers are installed. Tried again with XS++ 3.1, got message error: cannot open phone communication port.
