    Question W880 turns itself OFF

    I just got this W880i, I flashed it and unlcok it everything good. but a few days ago i started turning itself off like I have it in my pocket and go to see what time is it and there it is turned off. I shook it hardly to see if it was the battery, moved the battery almost getting it out of the phone but the phone didnt turn off.

    First I Flashed it with R1KG001 thougth is a bug and flashed it with R1JC002 to see how it works...

    During the flashing I noticed that there are 3 THREE BLOCKS PATCHED when I always get only 2 is that Idid something wrong please advice ppl..

    There is nothing wrong, because the 0, 1 and 2 blocks are written to phone. So this is actually equal with 3 ;)

    About the turning off problem: probably the problem is caused by the mismatching MAIN and FS. I suggest you to reflash the phone completely(MAIN, FS, custom pack), then unlock it again. But first backup the user data(contact list, ring tones or anything you need) form phone memory.

    Haha!!! that is 3 blocks being flashed. Essentially "block 0" is block 1 and "block 1" is blok 2 and so on. hmmm...the phone switching off like that is wierd, could be mismatch (doubt so though). It could be that the battery is damaged (not lose or anything like that, like the internal parts of the battery-memory-). My old nokia use to do that and i just bought a new battery and all sorted. Try see if a friend has a similar phone and test your phone with his or her battery. Hope you solve it soon
