Sony Ericsson W850i

Hi

I'm having trouble with my W850i, I have tried a few different flash with but still comes up with a flashing white screen, every time I flash it everything goes well with no errors but the white screen still flashing, only once the screen workes for a few seconds it is a brand new screen and it has been tested with other phone there is no problem with it.

I'm not sure if it's the software or the hardware, I've just noticed that the Model comes up as K700 but I can promisse you it is W850i I not sure why it’s been Identify as K700, I bought this phone with a broken screen and I'm trying to fix it. any ideas please :confused::confused::confused:

It gets more confusing, When I use XS++ to read the flash I get this warning included in the flash;
Warning: IMEI name does not match GDFS name(IMEI:NULL GDFS:K700)

That is wack! maybe someone flashed your phone with 700 firmware (is it a second hand phone?). Just the main and FS files with the correct firmware for your phone. After that if it still doesnt work then it could be harware ( ie flexiribbon or something).
