can some one please help us,i need to take it from the start,do i need to use phone xs instead of setool , my daughter daughtes phone is bricked,we are a bit thick ,we have tried the guides but do not understand some of it,thanks

you said that you have the gdfs backed up in your pc.....so then use it with setool and then ill tell you step by step what to do!!
For gdfs just start setool select the gdfs backup and then click on write gdfs and it will work just fine!!!
Need more info>>> in setool you can see the restore file field, you must point that to the backup of your gdfs, once you selected the file click on write gdfs and the wait for the process to finish.After this let me know what do you wanna do next and i'll help!

hi everybody that helped me understand the files process etc thanks i now have the phone turing on and fireing up , i just need to unlock the sim lock , any simple guide thanks everyone that gave us a push my daughter is so happy just need to remove inactive sim lock

right i have applied the patch and the phone powers up and it now wants a code to unlock the phone,,help help, this is the last stage
