Question about k810i firmware for use on T-Mobile network

I started out hoping to solve a bluetooth connection problem with the latest software. I flashed my k800i to the latest k800i CID53 firmware Europe_1 on Wotan (before i knew you could do it for free). Now im locked out, i had no clue they would do that. Im totally new to all of this. Im in the US in Seattle, Washington using T-mobile.

    I tried using these....

    K810_R8BC004_MAIN_TMOBILE_SM_RED53.mbn
    K810_R8BC004_FS_T_MOB_INT_A_RED53.fbn
    HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_107_R6A_GENERIC_AMERICA_2

....but it says to "insert correct SIM card".

Is there an k810i or k800i firmware that will work (unlocked) with my T-mobile sim?

No,because unlock isn't in firmware.Doing unlock with patch, but for now there no free tool for unlock CID53-only same pay service like D-Client - Top Sony Forums

Re: Question about k810i firmware for use on T-Mobile network

I somehow posted the wrong firmware! I edited my original post to reflect the correct firmware i used.

    Two questions:
1.) Firmwares are completely locked? I thought they were locked to a specific network.

2.) Since the firmware says T-mobile on it, does that mean T-Mobile can unlock it through an IMEI #?

Thanks for any help and please understand, im completely new to this wide world of phone modification.

Wotan server has not responded to me in a week, so im guessing that tells you what they care about.

Anyway you still have CID53 on your phone and like I said before there are NO free unlock only if you pay

Thanks for the help seamonkey, but im more confused because im getting conflicting information. On T-mobile's site, they state that they can unlock phones sold by T-mobile USA. If i called T-mobile UK, could they not unlock it? The K800 was sold by them at one point i assume, because their selling the c910, k850 and k810.

Also, why does Wotan lock the phone, did that happen because i choose to update the eprom at the beginning or something???

locking is not in the firmware.
flash with other unbranded firmware will also "insert correct simcard"

you can lock to any provider if you want it to...
    it is just an option.

There are free tools like Far Manager + JD Flasher to FLASH your phone, not to unlock it.

To unlock CID 53, you have to use SETool box, D-Unlocker or Da Vinci.

No matter how many times you flash your phone, it will not be unlocked unless you perform an unlock procedure.
