Dead? K750i - what did I do wrong?

I used XS++ in the following manner

1) FLASH MAIN R1CA021 from TopSony
2) quit - removed/reinserted battery - started XS++
3) FLASH FS R1CA021 from TopSony
4) quit - removed/reinserted battery - started XS++
5) FINALISE K750 standard CDA pack
6) used breakin - followed 8s/30s prompts to remove/reinsert battery
7) quit XS++
8) removed/reinserted battery and now the phone does not turn on when I press the power button. I can hold C button and get XS++ to recognise the phone

What has gone wrong?

My phone was a K750 CID49 RED with R3A005 EROM
The battery was 100% full before I started
The complete flash process took a few minutes

I can use FAR Manager and XS++ to get into the phone
I tried using FAR Manager to finalise the phone again. This time when I tried to access FS the phone started up again :) But now I get the "configuration error" message when I press the POWER button
How can I finalise it? My phone had a CDA of 102239/43 R15A before the flash. Do I need a custom pack of the same? Or can I simply use a new one?

Solution found!

It seems the order that I needed was

Start XS++
Flash FS
Quit XS++
Start XS++
Customise FS with my own custom pack -
Quit XS++
Start XS++
Flash MAIN
Quit XS++

Now the phone starts up OK and I now have my K750 with R1CA021 and my required CDA number

Now I have tried that, I am now moving on to upgrade the K750 to W800 firmware!

I've also had the same error when flashin and accessing FS, however, if I use SEUS, it will revive the phone and keep all files as well as those new ones intact.

Now I have W800 firmware using the same procedure as above FS, custom pack, then MAIN all in XS++.


Now I am looking into applying these VKP patches. I am hoping that I don't need to reflash a whole MAIN and can simply use FAR to flash the individual bytes. This will save me having to reflash a FS and lose all my settings.

installing .vkp there is no need to reflash the phone (main or fs).

Try using GSlide For k750i, it works very well with cid 36 so you have to get it converets from the 49 to 36 and off you go, any questions on it let me know
