K800 sleep mode white screen

Hi

I flashed my K800i with appropriate firmware etc (R1CB001) using SETOOL. All seemed to have worked except I now have a white screen for Sleepmode. Not really fussed about colour except that it drains the battery. Used to get 7 days use without rechrge now don't even get a full 24 hours.

I also have the error in menu message on startup, but that can be clicked by and seems to have no other effect. I have tried changing replacing menu as suggested in the forums but that does not seem to have changed this.

Anyone tell me how to turn it back to black. (Simple steps please for a simple mind)

Hi All

In case anyone else is having this problem, kind experts on another forum came up with the solution. Hope it helps others.

Find an original display driver and use XS++ to replace one in phone. Then turn off clock in sleep mode.

It appears to have cleared my white screen, I am now hoping for longer battery life.

Tnx for informing. Anyway I have owned a K800 and never had a problem like this with mine. but have seen others with this problem. :)
