W810i Java Restriction Removal

Hello there,

I am looking for some advice on the following.
I am trying to remove the Java restriction on KD player on my W810i and I have downloaded the appropriate applications as advised in the walkthroughs. Can someone let me know which "Main Firmware" I need to download? Also do I need SEUS for any other reason than installing the USB drivers? I have downloaded a USB driver exe - if I use this do I need SEUS? The software on my phone is R4CE012 - do I need to use SEUS to upgrade this and then follow the walkthrough for flashing the W810i? Can someone advise on finding the CID version of my phone.

First of all, you need to install usb drivers, in order to connect your phone with Your PC. Use "Setool2lite" to find the EROM CID of your phone, by pressing "IDENTIFY" button. Then save your GDFS(it's very important), by pressing "READ GDFS". I suggest you to update your firmware to R4EA031(it's not the latest but there are many patches), by flashing MAIN, FS and Custom file according to your CID. After that you can apply the patch "remove_java_security_restrictions.vkp".
