problems installing flash and using xs++

hello all sorry if this is already somewhere. I have download the setool2 and xs++ software. when i connect my phone (w880i) nothing happens. i have downloaded the flash (using firefox) and i am having problems installing this on windows xp. i have looked at the tutorials but it still giving me problems. could you please advice why xs++ wont detect my phone and just keeps saying can not be detected and how to resolve this so i can unblock my phone using setool2.

Hi guys!
I just wanted to tell you that you should prefer to use SETool2Lite instead of XS++. The reason is that with SETool2Lite you only need to find the MAIN firmware (follow the instructions that the members of the forum have mentioned earlier and you´ll understand what I´m talking about) for your phone. If you use XS++ you´ll also need the FS firmware.
