Need help fixing W580

I need help fixing my Sony Ericsson W580 its just keeps flashing red and screen stays black when I to turn it on and i tried using setools2lite and click repair and it said

:confused: im so confused on what to do and I do not have a backup GDFS because I never thought this would happen this happened when I unplugged my phone from pc while it was lagging and did not safetly remove it if anyone could help me or probaly send me a backup GDFS for my phone it would be of great help

1) Sounds like you have a damaged EROM. Try this :

REPAIRING EROM GUIDES for most sonyericsson phones - Top Sony Forums

2) NEVER EVER use another handset's GDFS with your phone. The GDFS is unique to each handset, not each model.

3)rd, mask out your IMEI number when posting flashing logs here. Good luck, and post the results.:)

Your GDFS or your Flash Chip is wrong...
nothing to do by you...
You have to take it to SE Tool BOX to check Flash Chip or Fix GDFS, but you can't do it with setool lite or Far....

oh dam that sucks :( was hoping I could fix it oh well there goes an expensive phone..... Well thx anyways I never thought about gdfs and stuff because I never flashed a phone or tried ....

Well if anyone has a alternative for me to fix my phone without ordering something or taking it to some shop please post me a message or email me at runesoflore@yahoo.com
