K310i PERSONAL lock - unlock

Hello Folks. Glad to be at the "top spot" for S.E. ^_^
Hopefully you guys will be able to assist me;

I have a Sony ericsson k310i which I got from my cousin.

Its locked with the PERSONAL CODE lock - NOT a GSM network lock.

He got the phone from someone he cant contact - its a working phone, but I CANT guess the code - and I'd REALLY like to get this phone working.
If it works - I really wont be upgrading to anything any more ..posh for a while.

Is there any such this as a master code unlock for this phone?
Something I can type in to bypass this?

ANYTHING!!?? - Ive been searching around for SOOO long...

So you're saying that with this software (along with the use of a cable I presume) you can view the number...



But, may I ask - is the cable that is used with this software the typical USB cable available to customers (that is used to transfer multi-media files / use the mobile as a PC modem)?

Or is it some special... service-nature type of cable ?? :confused:

Use typical USB cable,install flash drivers and with XS++ you can reset phone
lock code to 0000

Use first 2 section in this tutorial XS++ 2.x Guide - Top Sony Forums but in second section look on picture-up,right - locks-phone lock

And these flash drivers - you mean for the use of the cable?

you need the flash driver for the cable to read the lock. The driver is usually bundled with the program download
