How to flash w580i with SE Tool 2 Lite

1. In the application, select phone model as W580i.

2. In "Files:" Box under the phone model add the following files:

W580_R8BA024_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn
W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn

3. In "Misc files:" box add the following file:

W580_CDA102568_7_R8A_GENERIC_C_ASIA.ZIP

4. Once all the files are in appropriate positions, plug in the USB cable while holding onto the "C" on your phone

NOTE: your phone is detected as a "SEMC Flash Device"

5 Now click "FLASH".

In about 5 minutes you will be pretty happy with your "new" phone.

and you forgot about sumtin put the main first.....i dont know why but tats the way i saw in all tutorials....correct me if im wrong:P

It doesn't matter actually.

But I do forget something, though.

1. Charge your phone to 90-100%
2. Back-up all your contacts to your SIM and Memory Stick
3. Remove your SIM Card and Memory Stick
4. Turn off your phone

These things should be done before doing anything else.

Take out battery, then put battery in.

You phone should be fine!

Please note that before flashing your phone, you should ALWAYS back up your GDFS first. That way, if something goes wrong, you will have that.

If you are trying to make this into a tutorial you should really include all your updates in your main post by editing the original post with all this information. Also you should include in your original post that they should use the files that are specific to their region not just the names you specified. I am sorry but I would not want my phone flashed ASIA files. Since they do not pertain to me. :)

No Cid 53 only flashable with far and jd flasher or pay service for debrand.
